SA Council for Military Veterans Organisations (CMVO)

The Reserve Force Council is a parliamentary statutory body established in the Defence Act to represent the Reserve Forces in the SANDF.

The SA Council for Military Veterans Organisations (CMVO) will be holding the annual Memorial Service at Fort Klapperkop, Pretoria on Sunday 9th September at 10h00.

We need to remember the many South Africans who gave up their lives or became disabled during many conflicts in and for South Africa. This is not only for the last two World Wars, but our recent battles that have affected so many of our community.  We owe them recognition for our today and tomorrow!

Members of military units, regulars and reserves, associations and veterans organisations are welcome to participate by laying a wreath or a flower during the service to pay homage.

Please contact Marianne Fryer Phone / Fax: (012) 651-5921; E-mail nationalhq@icon.co.za; Cellular: 083-302-5315 for more details.
