African Star
Paul T Blackburn
July 2005
I wanted to give your Museum information on the African Star(you have list #116). My Uncle Willard Blackburn was on board in 1943 when it was sunk by torpedo from a German U-172, only one person was lost the others made it in life boats for two days when rescued. A short account of the event can be read @seawaves.com

Thank You

Paul
