Dear Steyn
Excuse short note but I must ask you for some more smokes
up to the present I haven't got those you sent last; I would be glad if you
would make enquiries re them. Things going on slowly, in good health. Please
send me a paper occasionally, "Argus" or "Times". Kindest regards to your

The President of the Committee of the Fêtes of Nice
Dear Mr President
May I presently remind you of the success which, without a doubt, is due to crown this year's fête?
Last year I had the pleasure of assisting with the entry of S. M. Carnaval. Do not think it is a lack
of interest on our part, quite the contrary. Best to you.
