SKELETON COAST
by John H Marsh

Cape Cross

At Cape Cross we also pass over the largest seal colony in Africa, where an estimated 250 000 of the amphibious mammals
turn the rocky promontory into an ever-moving, slithering, barking black mass... and are believed to have been doing so,
with their forbears, for thousands of years.
