Rocky Point

We had a good view of Rocky Point, site of the dramatic rescues, and its newfound police camp, but neither now
nor in subsequent examinations from ground and from the air, could we find the sand ridge from which Uys and Joubert
made their perilous take-offs. Apparently the whims of the wind during more than a third of a century
had changed it beyond recognition.
