At Sarusus we landed on one of the two alternative gravel airstrips that the Schoemans have levelled and marked out
to allow take-offs with full loads under different weather conditions, and within minutes a pair of Land-Rovers
collected the party and delivered us to the guest house complex. This is the only place on Skeleton Coast
where provision is made for visitors.
