SKELETON COAST

Magic Garden

Louw Schoeman showed us the "magic" influence of water at his miniature rock garden
on a sand dune in the middle of the desert. What to the unaided eye look like
scales or encrustations on the rock pieces are seen visibly to come alive,
unfold and rear up like growing plants as drops of water touch them.
I photographed this scene seconds after the first water was poured
upon selected rocks. Others are still untouched.
